Variable Data Labels
Variable Data Printing, or VDP, is a way of adding text that may be varied from one printed label to the next, without stopping the printing process. This process uses information from a spreadsheet stored in a database or an external file. VDP is exclusive to digital printing, which harnesses highly efficient computer software to create high-quality, full-color labels.
Variable data printing is ideal for lines of products that contain batch numbers, unique codes, promotional codes, and so forth.
